Digs in the heart of downtown are good and clean at both Hotel Malinche and its cheaper neighbor, Hotel Melisa , across the street. Painted bright pink, the Hotel Quepos is better than it looks from the outside. In fact, this was the first place we stayed in town, many years ago. Clean small rooms right across from the soccer field.
